Administrative Assistant for Residential Construction

$20 – $24 an hour

Primary General Contractor has open opportunities! We are now looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team. Qualifications:

High school or equivalent. College Preferred
Office Administration: 1-3 years
US Work Authorization: 1 year.

Responsibilities:

Answer and direct phone calls
Organize and schedule appointments
Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms
Maintain contact lists
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of reports
Assist with Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, and light bookkeeping
Assist with Lead management, contract management, and client interactions
Create and manage posts for social media
Manage subcontractor contracts and insurance certificates
Do routine scanning
Perform assignments as needed
Order office materials and job site materials
File paperwork and receipts

Skills:

Must be a team player
Must enjoy working in a fast paced environment
Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and flexible duties
Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented
Must possess exceptional communication skills, oral and written
Must be able to answer and direct phone calls as necessary
Must possess exceptional computer skills
Must possess excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Construction experience is preferred but not required

Benefits

Job Type: Full-time; in-office (remote work is not an option)

Material running, dump runs, coordinating with construction crews
Heavy and thorough prepping of job sites
Assisting of small handyman jobs and warranty work

$85,000 – $95,000 a year

Primary General Contractor has open opportunities! We are a high-end residential renovation company and are currently hiring for an experienced Senior Project Manager who is interested in delivering high quality, boutique services to our clients.

What we’re looking for:

12+ years of experience in residential construction
5+ years of senior leadership experience
Positive attitude
Self-motivated and self-starter
Ability to manage and hold a team accountable to complete tasks on a deadline
Willingness to research, learn and implement new systems, construction softwares, and training tools
Desire to work for a company where the individual’s contribution has significant impact on the success of the team as a whole
Experience utilizing technology for project management is a must
Meticulous, organized, and an expert communicator
Ability to communicate well within the company and with clients

Job Requirements:

Must be capable of performing a high volume/variety of tasks required throughout the day
Collecting and reviewing weekly progress reports from project managers
Training project managers

Ability to read and implement architectural plans and spot problems before and during build
Skilled in jobsite logistics
Ability to put together and track supply take-offs
Experience in customer relations
